The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.
The purpose of the meeting was to approve the roads for paving for 2012. The news media was properly notified.
Chairman Naples called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m. and led everyone present in the pledge of allegiance. Roll call was taken and present were Naples, Lidle and Ungaro.
Lidle moved to approve the June 13, 2012 Regular Meeting and Public Hearing Minutes, seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro, Naples…motion carried.
Lidle moved to approve the July 27, 2012 Special Meeting Minutes, seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro, Naples…motion carried.
Lidle moved to authorize payment for all outstanding bills for Poland Township, seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro, Naples…motion carried.
Lidle moved to appoint Nick Argeras as an Auxiliary Police Officer for Poland Township pending results of the physical, seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro, Naples…motion carried.
Lidle moved to approve road paving for 2012 for Katahdin, Lee Run Road and Burgess Lake Drive, seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro, Naples…motion carried.
There being no further business, Naples moved to adjourn the meeting at 4:13 p.m., seconded by Lidle. Voting yes – Naples, Lidle, Ungaro…motion carried.
