JULY 27, 2012—SPECIAL MEETING
The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.
The purpose of the meeting was to accept street lighting petitions from Manor Avenue and Beechwood Avenue, to approve Resolution #12–18—Government Natural Gas Aggregation and to approve changes to Poland Township employee contracts. The news media was properly notified.
Chairman Naples called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. Trustee Ungaro led everyone present in the pledge of allegiance. Roll call was taken and present were Naples, Lidle and Ungaro.
Vice-Chairman Lidle moved to approve the Sergeant and Patrolman’s contracts between Poland Township and the F.O.P. retroactive to January 1, 2012, seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro, Naples…motion carried.
Vice-Chairman Lidle moved to approve a wage increase of thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour for all full and part-time employees of Poland Township retroactive to January 1, 2012, seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro, Naples…motion carried.
Chairman Naples moved to adopt Resolution #12-17 – Nuisance Notice (resolution on file) for the presence of overgrown vegetation, garbage, refuse, personal property, junk motor vehicle(s) and other debris on properties located on the following properties in Poland Township:

Ungaro seconded the Resolution and the Roll was called. Upon its adoption the vote resulted as follows: Naples, yea; Ungaro, yea; Lidle, yea.
Vice-Chairman Lidle moved to adopt Resolution #12-18 (resolution on file) authorizing all actions necessary to support the continuation of a Governmental Natural Gas Aggregation program with opt-out provisions pursuant to Section 4929.26, Ohio Revised Code, directing the Administrator to execute a Supply Agreement with Interstate Gas Supply, Inc. to continue a Natural Gas Aggregation Program beyond September 2012 when the current Supply Agreement ends.

Ungaro seconded the Resolution and the Roll was called. Upon its adoption the vote resulted as follows: Lidle, yea; Ungaro, yea; Naples, yea.
Township Trustees accepted street lighting petitions from Manor Avenue and Beechwood Avenue in Poland Township.
Township Trustees also gave continuing support with our Township Attorney in the continuing zoning case with Mr. Day.
A brief discussion was held about the 2012 Paving Programs.
Naples moved to adjourn at 4:42 p.m., seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Naples, Ungaro, Lidle…motion carried.
