                                                                        SPECIAL MEETING - PUBLIC HEARING

                                                                              RIDGELY PARK DEVELOPMENT

The Poland Township held a special meeting on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 5:45 p.m. at the Township Administration Building, located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.  The purpose of this meeting was a request for a lighting district in Ridgely Park Development in Poland Township.

The news media had been properly notified.

Vice Chair Ed Kempers called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m.   Roll call  was taken and present were: Trustees Kempers and Wollet, Trustee Ungaro was absent.

Mr. Gary Bonner led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The petition was for 8 100 WHPS post lights at a cost of $15,360.18, and a monthly cost of

1564 per light per month.

Vice Chair Kempers asked 3 times if anyone was in opposition of the petition, there was no opposition.

Vice Chair Kempers asked 3 times if anyone was in favor of the petition, Mr. Gary Bonner of Ridgely Park who passed the petition around spoke in favor of the lights.

Vice Chair Ed Kempers made a motion to approve Resolution #21-07 establishing a lighting district for Ridgely Park, motion seconded by Trustee Wollet.  Roll call vote: Kempers - yes Wollet – yes… Motion carried.

Vice Chair Kempers moved to adjourn at 5:58 p.m., seconded by Trustee Wollet.  Voting yes -

Kempers and Wollet…Motion carried.

Meeting adjourned at 5:58 p.m.
